Hmmm…let’s see. First off, I’m keeping this blog as a spot for a personal journal. I especially wanted to set something up to keep notes as we (my fiance, John & kitty, Chowder) head on a cross-country trip to Seattle. I’m also going to try to keep notes on my grad school experience and such. It’s a big transition even if you only take the small rural town to big city move into consideration. I have another blog, digisqueaks.com, at which you can find my take on various digital discoveries, my lifestream feed, what I’m listening to, watching, playing, reading, etc.

In my 140 character Twitter bio this is what I decided on: Digital/Graphic Designer, Web Developer. Lover of Social Media and everything Web. Fan of family, gadgets, modern design, video games, media, etc. It pretty much sums up a good part of what I’m interested in. I am attending the University of Washington’s Master of Communication in Digital Media program this Fall (2010). I keep a blog for my grad school work at mcdm.mepriestley.com.

I love gadgets and media. I find it very easy to “unplug” and spend every moment I can with friends and family. I also spend as much time as I can in the water kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, or ice fishing. While I’m “plugged” in I’m most likely reading article RSS feeds, networking, working on freelance projects, playing video games, listening to music, or catching up on Hulu/Netflix.
